Herne Bay – Garage Rebuild
The existing single garage was demolished to make way for a new double garage and gated entry and fence. The new double garage was designed to be right on the boundary with the neighbouring house and on the street front to maximise the use of the site. Resource consent was required for the heritage zoning and infringement to the front yard and height to boundary control on the street. In addition to the building consent, a vehicle crossing consent and removal of the building line restriction was required.
